Skip the X41. It is the first-generation tablet. Rather, get the
X61, which is second-generation (and bears far fewer flaws). I speak
as a three-year X40 owener. They're extremely good units, only the
X40-era pads tend to tear off very easily. It's really fun to type on
a keyboard which is rocking back and forth on the table. That problem
is alleviated in the X60's, which don't narrow [as much] towards the
opening of the clam shell.

X40's work. X60's work. Any particular reason the tablet
functionality is so important? I can't think of many things you'd
need it for.
