On the front page - if you go and put in your address, it'll calculate
the closest access point. You can then go further into the website and
it'll check to see whether or not MetroFi will send out a device. I got
a confirmation - the device (a Pepmodem?) will arrive here by fedex by
September 1st.

device. The FAQ looks to be self-explanatory with regard to setup, but
only mentions Windows. There is a signon app where you put the username
and passowrd and that may *require* windows (well I have wine, but don't
know if that works at all with Internet / wireless stuff).
