Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this... so if it isn't please
let me know..
 
 
I need to create two shares. One share is read only accessible by anyone
without a username and password. The second share is Read/Write accessible
by only people with a username and password.

How do I go about doing this?

I have created both share successfully using "share" security permissions in
samba, but when I try to access the Read/Write directory in Windows it only
allows to me connect as Guest. I am unable to enter a different username.

When I tried to change the samba security to "user". The read-only directory
is only accessible with a username and password.

Please advise.
