[svlug] SBC having problems delivering mail from its own gateways?

We are using smtp.sbcglobal.net as our smart host for outgoing mail.
Last night we started receiving what looks like bounces (although they
might simply be saying that messages were deferred for a bit) from SBC.
The relevant parts seem to be:
