Position: Unix Kernel Developer - File System Engineer

Ingrian is looking for software engineers specializing in filesystem
development to help expand the current product offering. Successful
candidates will work with a highly talented and motivated engineering
team to design and implement a stackable file system for Linux, Solaris,
AIX, and HP-UX.

 

Required Skills

* Candidates should have at least 2 years of kernel development
experience in one or more of the following: AIX, HP-UX, Solaris, Linux.
More senior positions also available.

* Proven experience with working on the storage stack, preferably at the
filesystems layer.

* Experience in scoping out product requirements, writing functional
specifications, designing software, generating detailed design
documents, and writing clean, well commented code.

* Enthusiastic about working in a dynamic environment developing new
products.

* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Bachelor's degree in computer science.

 

Desired Skills

* Knowledge of cryptography and SSL.

* Client-server application programming using socket API and web
services such as XML-RPC.

* Experience with Windows kernel development and file system filter
drivers.
