Job Description
2Wire is seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join the team developing the MediaPortal Set-Top box, which delivers television, video-on-demand, music, and photos to your TV. This position’s focus will be in developing 2Wire’s media platform for the next generation of products. Responsibilities will include software design, development and integration to provide platform level support for new features.

Qualifications
Develop Linux applications in Java for System on a Chip based IP Set Top Box. Work with creative team to build high definition and standard definition interfaces. 

  Linux OS based JAVA, C, C++, application level debugging, UI Toolbox development, software build scripts, ‘ten foot’ interface development. 

  Application and Interface Software development under Linux in JAVA and C and C++, real time systems, Set top box experience a plus. 

Education

  Preferably BSCS or BSEE.
