About Smaug	English (USA)
Smaug is a user group, located in Santa Cruz, CA with an interest in exploring, using and teaching others about Linux, *BSD, and similar operating systems. Group home page: http://www.scruz.org/. While we appreciate the need for jobs postings, they easily overwhelm this small mailing list: So, you must submit them via e-mail to the listadmins, smaug-owner (at) lists.svlug.org, who'll decide whether to post them. Reasons why the answer has been "no" in the past have included their having already been posted to other local LUG mailing lists. (We get tired of seeing the same posts everywhere.) Per list policy, our (subscriber-accessible) membership roster and public message archives display unobscured posting addresses. Using Smaug
To post a message to all the list members, send email to smaug@lists.svlug.org. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Smaug
Subscribe to Smaug by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
