Support Ticket 17462315 Linode 'svlugmicah (svlugmicah)' has been updated by Linode:

--------------------------------------------------
Hello,

As part of a larger hardware upgrade project in our Fremont data center we are going to begin replacing a subnet of legacy IPv4 addresses that must be retired. We recognize that updating your Linode's networking configuration is not a small change and can be frustrating. We will continue to do our best to minimize your effort wherever possible and provide adequate notice for any changes required on your part.

The following IP address(es) attached to this Linode need to be replaced:
64.62.190.98

We've already added the new replacement IP(s) to your Linode as listed below:
45.33.47.207

They will remain alongside your current IP address(es) until July 11th, 2022 and will not incur any additional charges.

In order to activate the new address(es), please enable [Network Helper](https://www.linode.com/docs/guides/network-helper/#single-per-linode) and reboot the Linode. Note that any DNS, RDNS, and internal application configurations that reference the old address will also need to be updated. Please respond to this ticket if you need additional assistance, or have successfully activated the new IP address(es). Once complete, we can remove the old address(es) for you, and close the ticket. The old address(es) will be removed from your Linode on your behalf by July 11th, 2022.

Please note that if you do not update your IP by July 11th, 2022, we will need to shut down the Linode in order to force the change. Additional reminders will be sent over the next 8 weeks before action is taken.

Over the coming months we will be updating networking infrastructure in all of our data centers, improving network stability and laying the groundwork for more features. You can read more about this overhaul and the current timelines [here](https://www.linode.com/docs/guides/network-infrastructure-upgrades/).

Thank you in advance,
