Okay, I gave it a shot and got frustrated in trying to test it
since MANY of the references in the current code refer to
http://www.svlug.org...

I tried putting www.svlug.org in my hosts file, trying to get it
to locally resolve to the linnode machine, but no go... it was
still going to the old svlug.org machine.

I gave up for the night (after screwing up a lot of pages).  Any
ideas how I can test without changing the actual DNS for the
site?  (yes, I know I should be able to figure this out, but my
brain is full with management stuff these last few weeks)
