Yes, it does. Thanks.
I just last night (or was it the night before? ;-> ) had stamina and
time enough to bring the front-page Events box up to date, and was
saying to some of the other volunteers that I'd get around to the
meetings.php page Real Soon Now unless someone else (hint, hint)
beat me to it. I've just been swamped and tired, and haven't gotten to
it.
It didn't help that we only got the confirmation about Kyle Rankin the
same yesterday/today timeframe. (Sorry, but it's a fatigue/caffeine
war, at the moment, and caffeine's losing.) Normally, we'd have gotten
a paragraph about the speaker's topic and also about himself/herself
when the arrangement is made, but everything has been super-rushed this
month because of the flood of traffic and accompanying sundry hullabaloo
when the mailing lists reactivated. Among other things, we heard only
_then_ that the initially planned February speaker couldn't make it.
(Notice of this was delayed because, of course, the mailing lists were
offline and speaker coordinator Aniruddha Mulay couldn't reach us.)
So, in short succession, we had a big storm of mail and consequent
frantic random riot on the mailing lists, _then_ backing out of our
speaker, _then_ finding a new speaker, _then_ putting the details on
the front page and correcting / removing a bunch of other items there.
Amazingly enough, all of that's been just a few days.
We'll get to the meetings.php blurbs (which I guess we'll have to
research and write) Real Soon Now! ;->
