I do not believe the intent here was to write him out of the history entirely
(and, in fact, he didn't request that). I believe the intent was to sweep
through making sure that nothing else implies that his participation is
active and current, because it's not.
The "Web Team" page actually says we should expire current meetings out of
webfetch on the next day, so that the item disappears at midnight whilst a
batch of us are enjoying the afterdinner.
Other people who were once extremely active and are no longer directly
involved should, in my opinion, also be granted the same grace, now that
we're paying attention.
The other thing we should do is come up with some more juicy items that
*are* current for the visible main section. Those I think we should get
from the members at large anyway. There's lots of active people; we just
have to get them to write up their cool things. Ergo the desire for the
moin wiki :)
