I'm OK with cleaning up the Web site so that events no longer current are
deleted, along with the names of people facilitating those events as
mentioned in those event announcements. But I'm not in favor of editing our
pages in a way such as to rewrite history.
Ian Kluft did a lot of good work for SVLUG (and other technology interest
groups). Unless there was something really wrong with the way his name was
used when he was affiliated with SVLUG, I don't think his name should be
removed from historical documents.
My perspective on this is mine and I believe it should be checked with active
participants in SVLUG as to concenus opinion on how to handle matters such as
this one.
