The Email was sent by a bot or at least automated.
Even if it had been done by a human, it's still unsolicited Email that
had no business being sent to us.

That's already done. Google doesn't look kindly on spammers and usually
demotes them to heavily discourage any kind of activity that tries to
artificially boost a site's ranking through any kind of spam.
