If you talk to him, tell him he's been off the web-team for several months
since his mail started bouncing and we never heard from him again.

I don't pre-filter either, but I use mutt coloring, which lets me see what I
want to. That's how I keep up.
I've also included your personal Email address in the headers in addition to
the web-team address in the hope that your mail config would highlight your
personal mail, but that didn't work.

You don't.
I am effectively putting you in charge.
RCS lets us roll changes back if needed anyway (although RCS sucks, we
should really convert the whole thing to CVS, which would also allow for a
staging tree)
Heather is obviously still welcome to help as her time permits and/or can
give you advise and help you with location of things and the current
organization.
