Joyce is off at the Gym, so I'll answer this one for her -- Joyce is
comfortable operating in our environment (11 machines at home, 7 at
our office, not counting the ERPS Beowulf cluster). As the "family
sysadmin" I've made sure that ssh is the only way to get around, and I
(ahem) never showed Joyce any other editor than VIM when she was first
getting into Linux, years ago. She uses Netscape Messenger for IMAP
mail out of inertia (mine) more than anything else, uses Pine when
she's on the road, and distrusts Composer or any other GUI HTML
editors -- they don't support the server-side includes, stylesheets,
and javascript she uses on some sites.
She hates FrontPage, and has been gritting her teeth through an ASP
project her current boss has had her on for the last few months,
wants to get back to Perl.
Whups -- she just came home; better send this quick. ;-)
