Huh, son of ezmlm, I see.  Nice.  I note without objection that the MLM
does not have an integral Web-archiver.  They make muc the same
recommendation in the docs (http://mlmmj.org/docs/readme-archives/) that
Majordomo did, back in the day:  "You can use either mhonarc (in ported
form) or hypermail" (paraphrased).  Back in Majordomo days, everyone
seemed to have the attitude "We may get around to adding an add-on
Web-archiver some day", but never did.  E.g., SVLUG didn't.  The only
reason the 1998 SVLUG list postings are _now_ in the Mailman HTML
archive is that I imported the old majordomo mbox and then rebuilt
Mailman's archive to seamlessly add them.

Mind you, I'm not disapproving of the modular approach, which after all
is more Unixey.  I just note that Mailman 2.x kind of spoiled people,
because its "pipermail" archiver was/is quite decent, and you got it
without extra integration work.

Anyhow, I'd been pondering ezmlm as a sideways alternative to the
Mailman3 monstrosity, so it's good to know that Mlmmj exists as improved
and maintained ezmlm.

Easy.  And that would be the obvious long-term thing, if SVLUG shuts
down.

My thoughts, too.

I've had better luck helping keep alive some LUGs further north and in
the East Bay, which reminds me:  I'm hosting CABAL at my house in West
Menlo on Saturday evening (tomorrow), 4pm to midnight, outdoors around a
wood-fired heater.  It's basically an excuse for a wide circle of
friends to gather and have my home cooking, but upon demand we're 
glad to do Linux, too.
