I have a friend running Mlmmj for his user group, and he seems to like it a lot.

I might be able to convince him to host the svlug mailing lists, but I think that would need to be opt-in for privacy reasons.

I assume it should be possible to make a read-only static copy. Is that incorrect?

One could ask if this is still a LUG - the last time we met was at least a couple of years ago, and the mailing list is pretty quiet. I guess it's 
worth waiting for a post-pandemic world before giving up though.
