Jesus fscking Christ.  Daniel, is this perhaps one of yours?  

I haven't yet started investigating, and honestly don't have 
time for this, but I'm officially _really_ tired of having to spend long
hours I cannot afford to waste, cleaning up after other people's
piss-poor system administration.

Can I ask that people bloody well stop and discuss things before coding
yet more routines and deploying them without considering consequences
such as, oh, say, overfilling the target filesystems?  Hmm?  Is that too
much to ask?
