Hi Rick,

While there is still no public exploit, we need to deploy updates for
the L1TF vulnerability announced by Intel several weeks ago. The
software on the host server for svlug.xen.prgmr.com therefore needs to
be upgraded. In advance of that we are moving your VPS to a different
host server that has already been upgraded.

This will require two reboots. The first reboot will happen on
2018-10-15 between the hours of 04:00 UTC and 06:00 UTC. This reboot
will be to start your VPS on network-capable storage and to start
syncing it to a different host server.

The second reboot will happen on 2018-10-16 sometime between the hours
of 02:00 UTC and 04:00 UTC.  With this second reboot your VPS will also
be moved to a different type of CPU that is more common within our
fleet.

In both cases downtime is expected to be on the order of up to five
minutes. We will send an email to the account primary and technical
contacts when your VPS goes down, and we will send a subsequent email
after it has been restarted.

You may want to review the grub configuration file /boot/grub/menu.lst
(typical, used with pv-grub) or grub.cfg (with grub2) in advance of this
reboot to verify it is sane and has a valid default entry. You may also
wish to verify you are still able to log into the management console
https://wiki.prgmr.com/mediawiki/index.php/Management_Console in advance
of the reboot. We will allow 2 minutes for the VM to shut down from the
time that the shutdown signal is sent before performing an unclean
shutdown. If you are concerned this is not enough time, please contact
us or shut them down yourself 10 minutes prior to the maintenance
window.

We will be rebooting internal systems, including billing and the management console, during a two
hour window beginning 2018-10-12 04:00:00 UTC.
