We need to perform an unavoidable software upgrade on the host server
for svlug.xen.prgmr.com. If this time window does not work for you, we
may be able to move your VPS to a different host server in advance of
this window. More details will be posted on https://prgmr.com/blog/ when
possible.

We have allocated up to two hours after 2018-08-12 06:00:00 UTC for
downtime, though we expect it to take much less time than this.

You will receive a credit for this downtime based on how long the
service is unavailable. We will send an email to the account primary and
technical contacts when the host server is brought down and when it is
started again.

You may want to review the grub configuration file /boot/grub/menu.lst
(typical, used with pv-grub) or grub.cfg (with grub2) in advance of this
reboot to verify it is sane and has a valid default entry. You may also
wish to verify you are still able to log into the management console
https://wiki.prgmr.com/mediawiki/index.php/Management_Console in advance
of the reboot. We will allow 5 minutes for the VM to shut down from the
time that the shutdown signal is sent before performing an unclean
shutdown. If you are concerned this is not enough time, please contact
us or shut them down yourself 10 minutes prior to the maintenance
window.

We will be rebooting internal systems, including billing and the
management console, during a two hour window beginning 2018-08-09
04:00:00 UTC.
