Ansible's great.  Doesn't matter to me that {Puppet,Chef} is the main
flavour du jour.

Last time I did this sort o'thing, though, the main work was crafting
and tuning the antispam defences for the MTA, and a little bit was
welding together the MLM (Mailman) and the MTA correctly.

Honestly, I could have pushed forward with that, on either a spare
machine or a VM, ages ago, but I've just been consumed with higher
priorities of my own, plus still a bit surly over everything being
dropped in my lap by default.  (Not in any way aimed at you, of course.)
