There actually aren't any specific content rules.  A great deal of 
complaining would probably happen if you posted that, there.  But
read on.

I try to listadmin the SVLUG list with a very light hand, and I don't
expect I'd give you or anyone else a hard time for mentioning that site.
I expect I'd eventually intervene later if excessive noise ensued.

A personal plea:  I went through quite a bit of effort to make the rules
for SVLUG's mailing lists be extremely few and terse, and to never apply
any rule that isn't prominently displayed, naively hoping that they
might be, y'know, heeded.  Yet, I keep hearing bullshit like 'I know we
have a rule against politics on the SVLUG mailing list', and it makes me
wonder 'Did it occur to him to _check_?'

for the main SVLUG list, and it cross-references
http://www.svlug.org/policies/list-policy.php (quoted above).

My plea:  Read the Fine Rules.
