I believe I attended one of your meetings a year or two ago. I was asked to
be a Linux guy on a panel that had representatives from Solaris, Plan 9,
and I can't remember what else.

I remember joining a group for dinner afterward. That was a nice
opportunity to chat.

My Silicon Valley Linux Technology meetup would be able to bring more folks
to the LUG meetings I believe. That group is pretty active. I am giving a
lecture on BASH (
http://www.meetup.com/Silicon-Valley-Linux-Technology/events/188928822/)
for example. I had to limit attendance to 25 and I have that filled with 52
on the waiting list. If your meeting space often has extra room, announcing
your meetings on my group would likely increase your attendance.
