My impression is that there's less interest in _most_ embedded Linux 
topics among SVLUG members, with the exception of some consumer-friendly 
items such as Roku, and hackable things like Raspberry Pi and kin.

Personally, I _think_ there's quite a bit of experience in iptables,
or at least should be.  How the talk is described probably matters 
quite a bit.

Either talk would be great, anyway.  My own general rule of thumb is
that whatever topic inspires the presenters (within reason) and that the
presenters would enjoy talking about is the right one.  When the speaker
is having a good time, that makes it more likely the audience will.

So, actually, I'm delighted to say that you should feel welcome to pick!
Either one will be welcome.
