Hi, Mark! Hmm, you had this distribution:

To: svlug at lists.svlug.org, dvlug at linuxmafia.com, sf-lug at linuxmafia.com,
        berkeleylug at googlegroups.com

Probably no harm will come from that crosspost, but, FYI, it's greatly
appreciated if people do not crosspost across multiple mailing lists, as
several problems can and do result, including a lot of extra work for
the various mailing list administrators if members of the targeted
mailing lists reply-all, as sometimes occurs. (I could detail the
various other adverse consequences, but am keeping this short.)

For those reasons, SVLUG's mailing lists are configured with a set of
filters aiming to hold messages addressed using common crossposts.
Those filters _should_ have triggered on your post but didn't, and I'm
currently attempting to debug those and fix them.

There are no really great alternatives to crossposting, but the least
bad is multiposting, i.e., sending the same post once to each target
list. Yes, that's a bit more work, sorry.
