prior to alcoholic entanglements, SVLUG has had many many fine
presidents and speakers. However, even when SVNET was around
(and we are talking the 1980s) this was an extremely difficult task.
And I do NOT see this happening.

Even with Yudhvir's fine work, and perhaps some past presidents ;-)
lending a hand - I do not see this as viable. I hear talk, but I expect
little to no action. (As evidenced)

In short, a fine suggestion, un-doable, let's move on.

If want my $0.02 on a doable alternative of similar form, please ask.
