Ok,  I think keeping that up to date (and seeing to it that emails are 
sent to the proper mailing lists)  is pretty important if a speaker 
cancels or changes, we need to get the word out to everyone who planned 
on showing up, so having more people able to do that is probably
a good thing, assuming you trust me not to screw it up too badly.  

Also, do we have any backup systems that are better than a straight
rsync?  I am getting my own house in order, backup-wise with rsync 
and a set of hardlinks every rsync (the idea is that when rsync changes a
file, assuming you don't use the --inplace option, it creates a temporary
file then moves it over the original, which leaves a hardlink untouched)
for my own stuff so I have some historical record, and eh, seems like 
doing the same for svlug wouldn't be that much more work.  So 
the other question is do we have anything super secret on that box
you don't want spread about and/or do we have some kind of legal risk
mitigation document retention policy.
