[volunteers] Installfest vs. Picnix18 ???

Several times, I've run installfests at past years' iterations of the Sbay
Picnic to which you refer (what used to be the LUGs' Linux Picnic,
before Sbay kicked the LUGs out of their own event), and it's never
worked particularly well: It's either dusty and hot, or windy, you have
to shlep quite a bit of stuff, there's significant risk of theft, and
very few people benefit.

I'd seriously recommend ignoring the Sbay Picnic. Now, I don't run
SVLUG's installfest. (Neither does Ed, actually.) But why lose one of
our long-scheduled events just because Sbay can't be bothered to read a
calendar? Next time, maybe Sbay shouldn't set up an avoidable conflict.
