A handful of people have mentioned the drive down to Evergreen College being a bit longer than ideal.
Unfortunately, we don't seem to have any other regular Installfest location alternatives available at the moment. If we wind up holding an Installfest at the Fremont Main Library, we can see how that goes, but it would create a "to-do" of reserving the room every month... not the end of the world by any means, but SVLUG is not the only group looking to use their facilities and it is unlikely that we will be able to reserve the 3rd Saturday every month. Furthermore, David Eisenberg and Evergreen College have been very generous to donate their time and facilities to SVLUG and they are due a certain amount of respect and loyalty from the group. If any changes is to be made to the SVLUG Installfest location, we need to take Evergreen College's interests and support into account as well.
