I think this is a wonderful offer on your part, and am delighted.
Would you be available on Wednesday, November 4th? That's the first
open speaker slot for an SVLUG General Meeting.

Meetings convene at 7 PM: The speaker is welcome to start immediately
if he/she wishes, though some elect to wait ~10-20 minutes while
latecomers arrive. Sometimes, our president, Andrew Fife, makes a
couple of brief announcements from the podium as well, before
introducing the featured speaker.

We have the room until 9 PM, so it's common for the speaker to have
material for a bit over an hour. Some speakers ask the audience to hold
questions until a Q&A period at the end, while others welcome audience
members during the presentation.

Typically, some attendees go to a nearby restaurant at the end.

Thank you again for your offer.
