I didn't know about this until I got here a few minutes ago. I've posted this text to the http://evc-cit.info/installfest/ page:

The campus is hosting an India festival on 20 June 2009, and they are charging for parking *for that event.* If you are asked to pay a parking fee ($7.00), tell the person that you are on campus for the computer installation class in room RF-241. The India festival staff has been told not to charge people who are here for other purposes.
