And, right on schedule, she tried to repost with a paragraph at the
bottom, talking about those non-Linux jobs.  Rejected with comment 

  You'll need to try again without the "For same linux-centic company"
  paragraph.

I'll bet the "If they're still talking, then I can haggle" approach
works for her, almost every time.
