[volunteers] Opengear-Speaker Topic

Andrew,

I would keep the presentation as technical as possible without selling
Opengear. My thought is to cover NUT & Powerman, what is is, what it does
and where we see it going (since we are working directly with the
developers).

Let me know if there is a date(s)/time we could meet.

Thanks,

Hi Todd:

Per Luke & Rick's messages it sounds like there is interest in a talk on NUT
and Powerman. Can you clarify approximately what percentage of the talk is
about these open source projects and what is about commercial offerings from
Open Gear? Typically SVLUG speakers have deep technical expertise and are
often practicing network/system administrators and/or software developers.
Will this be a technical talk?

Given the interest expressed and assuming that the talk is technically
inclined rather than a sales pitch a talk from Open Gear seems like a good
idea.
