Rick -
We discussed this face to face last week, and here is a formal proposal to
ask *Akkana Peck* to speak to us about the GIMP. I suspect there are a lot
of us who use this app and would appreciate a tutorial on how it works. I
know from experience that it's clumsy, and that it's not as "good" as
Photoshop for some things, but there are dozens of photorendering apps that
don't do really do the job, and the GIMP is powerful and literally free
software.
