A reasonable and thoughtful request.  I hope and expect John Regan
will be more careful about that particular point in the future.

(However, it doesn't have to rise to the level of official policy, IMO,
unless the problem persists and people are mislead again.)

It would be sensible for John to announce meetings only after he has an
actual location, but (IMO) his not doing that is strictly a matter
between him and his readers.  I.e., SVLUG as an institution has no
legitimate complaint about his posts being half-assed.  It's not like we
guarantee our posters' promises.  ;->

(FWIW, John seems to be OK with not confirming his meeting location and
merely attempting to wing it.  I don't think that's likely to change.)
