Just FYI, at today's memorial gathering for Josh Neal, Peter Neal (no
relation) asked the assembled VA Linux alumni whether any of us would
like to have his (working) VA Linux model 2230.  I said I'd be glad to
have it, but that you need it a _lot_ more than I do.  I described your
situation, and suggested either he get in contact with you, or
vice-versa. 

He's on the EVALS list, so you already have his e-mail address.  He says
he lives in Fremont, these days.   

So, that might be the best immediate fix for your problem.
