Well, FWIW, I make sure *I* am not in the autopermit list for announce
lists, just so I don't make the same mistake.

Once a year or two ago, other people had put me into the autopermit list
on the balug-admin at lists.balug.org mailing list (which I administer),
but failed to tell me that.  I accidentally posted a follow-up _on_ that
announce list, not realising that the original post had been there
rather than balug-talk.  I was highly embarrassed, publicly apologised
for my screw-up, and made sure I was _removed_ from the autopermit
roster.

This reflects a common misunderstanding about how the Reply-To header
works, which I'd rather not go into right now.  Accordingly, we will
_not_ munge Reply-To for that or any other purpose.
