Hiya, Ed!

Sorry, but Rick's been entirely too difficult with me, past
Presidents, and now you, for me to sit here quietly without addressing
the problem.  This isn't between you and Rick; it's between Rick and
every single authority figure who's ever been part of SVLUG.

Mr. Moen's bitter attitude toward many within SVLUG does the
organization no service; in fact, if it's indeed the "price tag" for
his involvement, I feel the price is too high for the organization to
continue to bear.

One of the handful of reasons I'm no longer President is that I had
the cajones to attempt to remove this entrenched individual from his
place within SVLUG.  Rick's turned off and turned away SO so many
people over the years that it's past funny, past disturbing, and well
into the 'totally inappropriate' phase.  Witness Warren Turkal -
motivated, smart, willing to help... he was attacked, by Rick, until
he outright gave up on SVLUG and quit, even though he was our VP at
the time!

I'm not a proponent of tactics such as the ones above; I shan't bear
them applied to me, nor to those I care
deeply for, nor do I wish them on the SVLUG community in general.
They deserve better than that.
