It's good, though, in a way - others now know that they cannot count
on your discretion in delicate matters.

That pretty much seals the deal; you're entirely on your own now; I'll
refrain from even trying to give you any additional insight into how
some of the people you'll soon know altogether too well tend to work.

I guess that's what I get for trying to help.  I also tried to help
you by appointing you; it seems I'm making mistakes here left and
right!

 I considered you to be the most qualified interested party; now, I'm
not so sure; I guess SVLUG really DOES need to have an election at the
next meeting.
