Thank you, Christian, for your kind words.  You're a gem.

I truly do wish my successors well in their efforts to wrangle SVLUG
into something reasonable.
And, while some may look on some of my actions as rash and/or
inappropriate, others already know
that much of what I did NEEDED to be done, by SOMEONE, even though
doing it would basically
seal that person's fate.  Well... I was willing to be that someone.

Hopefully soon, SVLUG will have bylaws clearing up...
- how to appoint interim officers until elections can be held
- how to ensure elections ARE held promptly
- how to remove volunteers from posts when necessary
- the set of things officers are NOT allowed to do (all else being fair game)

I'm relatively sure my recent actions will ensure progress along these lines.
