Rachel - I won't be there either; their efforts are irrelevant at this point.
I'm finding two capable leaders to take over, then appointing them, as
my last act as President of SVLUG; then I'll simply focus on
education, with SVLUG and numerous other more capable vehicles for
that sort of mission.
I truly hope during this transition that anyone who's waving their
hand, going "me, me!", and not getting appointed, will not take it
personally that I don't consider their leadership or interpersonal
skills to be sufficient for the position. I've done the job, so I
know what it'll take.
