The above, in turn, prompted me to look up something Bruce Coston said
on this mailing list on Dec. 17th:

Bruce, it's _possible_ that you were referring to one or more of those
sets of pages. The "vote/" tree in particular houses SVLUG's pages
containing full details of the group's 2001 and 2004 elections:

As I mentioned, I was completely unaware of those three mass-deletions
of SVLUG's files, and certainly would NOT have approved, had I known.
NOTE: I would have found those deletions a lot sooner if you had told
me what _specifically_ you were talking about.
Remember my asking you and Alvin to please be specific? That's one
reason why.
(I think I know who deleted them and why, but it's a surmise, and I'd
basically rather not go there. Suffice it to say, this was _not_
discussed among the Web Team, and was not OK.)
Naturally, if you can give me _specifics_ of anything else you believe
has gone missing, please speak up.
