Thanks for mentioning that, Rick.  To address the issue - just as you
and other volunteers don't tend to swallow "I'll do this only if you
do that" type offers, neither shall I.  You gave me no choices I could
live with; I'm certainly not deferring to you regarding the running of
SVLUG, or its events, or its mailinglist, or its servers.

You've conveniently blurred the "list admin" and "SVLUG admin" roles.
I haven't.  For example, censure, cleaning out deadwood, etc. - all
things a list admin shouldn't do (without lots of communication with
others), and all things an SVLUG officer CAN and should, in fact, do.

Roles and responsibilities aren't carved in stone within SVLUG but
they're clearly there, and clearly held by someone.  Unless I've
delegated the responsibilities and authorities to a volunteer, they
are on my shoulders.
