Well, if it's finally being put to good use, that's good news :)
So my problem is that I need to turn a 2250 into a 2230.
I looked at it and I don't think I can remove the midplane and still use the
system, since the midplane is used for power.
I could however give you my 2250 chassis + PS + 5 SCA drive carriers (i.e. a
full system), in exchange for the 2230 chassis without the MB that you would
keep.
Actually the MB in the 2250 is good too, but one of the CPUs has died. The
system has 1GB of Ram and one maybe 800Mhz CPU right now and has been stable
in single CPU configuration.
You'd be welcome to either use that or the MB that you have and are testing
right now (more specifically you can keep both and use whichever one is
better)

of course.

I can give you another one (although I know I provided a cable)

This sucks since indeed I gave you my spares :(
I don't actually need any of that though, but I would need the 4 (different)
sleds, which are really a square piece of sheet metal that hold drives in
the 2230. Do you have those in the machine, still?
If so, I'd love to swap the chassis, and you'd actually get a better one in
exchange :) I can also give you 5 SCSI SCA drives to put in the 2250 if
needed.
