Hi, Marc.

This is really awkward -- but I'm hastening to answer your question
again, anyway, to the best of my ability.

I recently got physical custody of the 2230 + 9008, and am doing CTCS
testing and reloading in order to re-deploy those at Via.net, making up
for the extremely long and somewhat odd delays until that point. I'll
gladly hand over the case + PSU + carriers to you if Paul Reiber so
indicates, but don't think I have the discretion to give away SVLUG
property, even to its donor, until Paul says so.

(I.e., I think it would improper to regard the 2230 as mine to give away.
The 9008 and the drives in it, Paul is on record as offering to me, and
I accepted, but I think SVLUG's use of them is still the best idea.)

Prior allegations that either or both unit had hardware problems appear
so far to be baseless (but those are why I'm doing CTCS-testing).

For completeness: The external SCSI cable to connect the two units was
not with either unit when I received them, and there are only 7 (VA
Linux-proprietary) drive sleds in the 9008, the eighth and all spare
sleds being currently unaccounted for.
