Greetings, SVLUGgers!

I'm happy to announce the details for SVLUG's latest adventure -
weekly kernel source code walk-thru sessions. Leslie Hawthorne over
at Google has come through for us- Google's willing to provide us with
an ongoing venue for the meetings! They're one awesome sponsor!

The first session will be on November 6th - that's next Tuesday.
Approximately 2 dozen people responded to my headcount request.
Accordingly, Google has arranged a room for us that'll accomodate that
going forward. The room for the meeting will be Cayenne (1st Flr,
Bldg. 42). There is ample seating for 20 persons and we can borrow
chairs from nearby conference rooms as needed.

Folks can arrive at Building 42 reception on Tuesday evenings, any
time between 7 - 7:30 PM, though closer to 7:30 PM is likely better.
The meetings will end around 9:30 PM. Plan to sign in at the visitors
kiosk upon arrival. You'll need to execute the NDA but that covers
only information you might learn about Google during your visit, not
the presentations given or the information discussed in the meeting.

Leslie's also mentioned that everyone is welcome to help themselves to
snacks and beverages from the nearby microkitchen.

I've given Google permission to videotape the sessions as well.
They'll put the footage on Google Video/YouTube for the widest
audience benefit.

Here's all the information you might need regarding parking,
transportation, etc.: http://code.google.com/events/visitors

Thank you all so much for your ongoing support of SVLUG.

Hope to see you next Tuesday or Wednesday evening! (or both!)
