Ani - this would be a good idea for a meeting subject!

(SR - Ani's our speaker coordinator - maybe between us all we can find
someone knowledgable enough to lead that session?)

Thank you both for your ideas, enthusiasm, and support!

Subject: [svlug] Regarding Linux "source
code-walk/reading/understanding" type of sessions.
To: svlug at lists.svlug.org

All
Sort of a junior-level Linux experience guy here. I was wondering,
if there is currently, and if not, is there any interest...in having
intensive source code walk-through sessions for Linux kernel.

To get an idea of what I am talking about, some thing along the lines of:
http://www.mckusick.com/courses/2006.advdescrip.html

Of course, everybody can do it on their own, but could be a good
idea to have a group, so that there is more encouragement to do this
on a periodic basis.

Thanks
SR
