(Declining, as before, to perpetuate that dumbass crosspost.)

Quoting Alvin Oga (alvin at mail.Linux-Consulting.com):

Oh yes! I want all the registrar notifications for pending domain
renewals io go through as widely diverse SMTP routing as possible, to as
many responsible volunteers as feasible, with the fewest common failure
modes that can be contrived, so that I can exercise my malign influence
and control. Sure, that makes _lots_ of sense. Probably using my
orbital mind-control lasers.

Boy, you sure have _me_ all figured out. Did you manage that all in
your spare time?

Oh, yes, I _caused_ all of the renewal notices to go through a single
MTA that silently refused them -- through the clever tactic of strongly
recommending against that configuration, and getting it adopted against
my advice.

> the svlug community has voted, Feb 2006, to own its own domain,

Wow, I guess I must have had it all wrong. I could have sworn that it
was a vote to resume SVLUG's independence from Sbay.org -- and that it
occurred on March 1, 2006. Who knew?

> and yet certain folks, you rick, is preventing its implementation

Remind me, Alvin: _How_ am I preventing whatever it is you claim I'm
preventing? Is it those orbital mind-control lasers, again?
