says:

   Announcements

   8 weeks before a domain at Joker.com expires, we will send an email to
   the account holder (i.e. the individual who registered the domain, using
   the email address which has been used for authorization/login when
   registering).  If we do not receive an answer from the account holder
   within 4 weeks, we will inform all other contact addresses (owner-contact,
   admin-contact, tech-contact, billing-contact).  This procedure will be 
   repeated once after a period of 2 weeks.

Registrant fields have name, organisation, address, phone, e-mail, optional fax.
Admin contact fields, ditto.
Tech contact fields, ditto.
Billing contact fields, ditto.

The FAQ also warns:

   Warning: Wrong contact

   The owner of a domain is responsible for keeping the data of the
   contacts valid. The owner must make sure that the addresses (email and
   postal) are in use and that the messages are read.  An invalid address 
   in the owner-record is reason to cancel the domain. 

The FAQ also says:

   Who can administer/change my domain?

   By asking our 'Search Whois' (entering your domain name) you will see
   who can make modifications to your domain: the owners of the email
   address of the

    * owner
    * admin-contact
    * tech-contact
    * billing-contact 

   have to log in with the respective email address.

However, in practice, we've given out the password corresponding to
joker.com login "svlugdomain at starshine.org" to all people trusted to
handle the svlug.{org|net} domain records, without regard to who is
listed for the various contacts.

You two are in charge of SVLUG, so I've been deferring to your wishes.
Nothing's been happening, so far.  Would you like me to just sprinkle
my, Paul's, and Mark's names, residential addresses, e-mail addresses,
and telephone numbers around admin, tech, and billing for svlug.org and
svlug.net?  If so, please, both of you, provide the USPS address,
telephone number, and e-mail address you want used.  Be aware that this
information will become public.  As noted, all such data should be real,
not faked or erroneous.
