SVLUG meetings are on the 1st Wed of the month.

Will he be available to speak on Wed, Aug 01, 2007 ?

If not then the next 2 meeting dates are:

Wed, Sept 05, 2007 (Sept meeting)

Wed, Oct 03, 2007 (Oct meeting)

Let us know what would work for you from the above dates and then
we will send you a confirmation e-mail to say that you're booked
for that particular date.

There are a few pre and post meeting announcements but most of the
time is meant for the main presentation + Q/A session.

I would say, the main speaker has about 100 minutes.

Yes.

Also, after the main presentation, usually there is a jobs corner.
If you are hiring, you are welcome to announce open position(s)
and it is perfectly alright for the company recruiters to attend
the meeting.

Yes, you can distribute prizes, offer free services to members.
Even, book signing by Criket Liu would be fine too.

A note on timing and meeting duration:

We need to vacate the Symantec Cafeteria after 9pm.

After the meeting, some folks go out for dinner at some nearby
dining place. However, it is strictly informal and not a part
of the SVLUG meeting.

The July 2007 meeting would be on Wed, July 11th 2007 (i.e. the
2nd Wed due to Independence Day holiday).
